Maintenance Planner

NES Fircroft is partnered with a world leader in mining who is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner for a permanent full-time opportunity based on site in the Bown Basin.

We are looking for previous experience of Maintenance Planning in Coal Mining. This position is permanent full time, 8/6 Roster. With the offer of an excellent remuneration package including performance-based bonuses. Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.

About the Role

• All aspects of the efficient planning and scheduling processes on large mining equipment including Diggers, Trucks and Drill
• Manage the routine maintenance strategies for mining equipment including short term and long-term planning roles.
• Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance & workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment.
• Taking all reasonable steps to minimise impact on the environment.
• The identification of continuous improvement opportunities.
• Understanding customer requirements and delivering value add services to the business.
• Mentoring and developing Junior team members.
• Following safety practices and procedures when undertaking work.
• Implement systems and processes.

About You

• A trade qualification and experience in heavy mining equipment and maintenance planning is essential.
• Be proficient in SAP.
• Strong team player with a high regard for your personal safety and the safety of your teammates.
• Demonstrate self-leadership, a positive attitude, and an unwavering commitment to working proactively and effectively.
• Follow a plan and the resilience to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in coal mining.
• You will be results focused with a strong ability to implement successful change.
