Ahead of a rise in superannuation, NES Global Talent, together with RecruitmentSuper, is hosting a free seminar to help people understand the impact and how best to save for their retirement.

The Australian government has agreed that the current Superannuation Guarantee rate will increase gradually from 9% to 12% by 2019-20, with the first rise of 0.25% set to take place on 1st July.

In order to help individuals and business get a deeper understanding of the changes, technical manpower provider NES Global Talent has joined forces with industry fund RecruitmentSuper to host a free seminar in Perth on 4th June.

Marcus Ward, Associate Director at NES Global Talent, said: “As superannuation rises, it’s crucial that our clients keep up to date with the latest developments so they can be sure they are saving enough for their retirement.”

The seminar will be followed by an update by Marcus on the oil and gas industry in Australia and will focus on four main topics: changes in superannuation; superannuation product MySuper; 457 visas and the budget.

Marcus said: “We are committed to helping our clients manage the superannuation changes and are delighted to be hosting this seminar, which not only covers crucial rate increases but also provides the perfect networking opportunity.”

David Luker, Manager – Member Experience at RecruitmentSuper, said: “The team at RecruitmentSuper are focussed on empowering Australians with the knowledge and confidence to make key decisions that will help them achieve their retirement goals. We’re excited at the opportunity to partner with NES Global Talent in delivering this free seminar.”
