NES Global Talent, the specialist manpower solutions provider, has won the Recruitment Agent of the Year category of the Africa Oil & Gas Awards 2014.

The awards, held last week in Johannesburg, South Africa, recognize the achievements of local and international companies involved in Africa’s oil and gas sector and reward those that have played a defining role in developing the local industry. It was judged by a panel representing energy ministries, oil and gas companies and market experts from across Africa.

Femi Banjo, NES Global Talent’s Operations Manager in Nigeria, said: "We are delighted that our business commitment in Africa has been recognized and would like to thank everyone that has supported us. We have grown our business in this region in the most compliant way and with indigenous talent, developing staff members, creating genuine opportunities and demonstrating our clear resolve to support contractors, clients and stakeholders across the continent."

Gavin Peavoy, NES Global Talent’s Regional Director - UK, Europe and Africa, said: “Our staff work very hard to achieve great results, and to have their work publically recognized in such a way is a fantastic achievement for them and NES Global Talent. This helps cement our reputation as the oil and gas recruiter of choice in Africa with both clients and candidates.”
