Celebrating Burns Night, the NES Canada team organised an evening of celebration whilst raising money for charity.

The 5th NES annual Robbie Burns Night was held on Saturday 27th January at the Fairmont Palliser in downtown Calgary and hosted by local radio Jack FM DJ Dominik Diamond.

Burns Night is a traditional Scottish evening to celebrate the life of Scotland's national poet Robert Burns. There was lots of tartan on show, some poetry, a live pipe band and Celtic band, as well as some authentic Scottish Haggis!

Over $11,000 was raised for the Alberta Children's Hospital and the event was a great success. Over the past 5 years, NES Global Talent have raised over $50,000 for the charity.

Thank you to all our guests who attended the event, it’s through your generosity on the evening that enabled us to raise such a great amount for an amazing hospital.
