Our Client's Challenge: A speciality chemical company in the UK, was struggling to find a suitable candidate for their site-based Technical Engineering Manager role. Previously relying on agencies to fill their more junior level roles, their usual contacts had failed to evidence significant industry insight in order to obtain a candidate at such an experienced level.
Our Solution: NES assigned one of our expert discipline-specific consultants to visit the client in person and liaise with the talent acquisition team in order to develop an in-depth brief detailing the nature of the role, desired technical skills and required personality fit. The necessary stringent role requirements enabled our consultant to shorten in excess of 50 CVs to just four. Our targeted strategy delivered four highly qualified candidates to the client, of which two reached second interview stage.
