  • Our Client’s Challenge

    Our client, a leading service provider for high reliability and optimal efficiency of rotating equipment, was requested to support an emergency generator outage on one of the United States’ newest and largest nuclear power facilities. They required 12 highly skilled generator winders across 2 shifts to repair one of the plants nuclear steam turbine generators quickly.

    Our Solution

    We were able to quickly deliver the support they needed due to our extensive knowledge of the industry and large candidate database.

    We dedicated 3 craft discipline consultants to develop a hiring campaign and were able to secure 12 personnel, compliantly, within 1 week.

    The Outcome

    The rewind was completed ahead of the anticipated 32-day outage schedule, improving efficiency for the client with zero lost-time incidents.

  • Our Client’s Challenge

    Our client was awarded the turnkey construction for a thermoelectric power station in South America. Because of this, they needed to increase their workforce in a short period of time. They were also looking for expatriate talent to help develop the local talent.

    Our Solution

    Having built a history with this client over the last 15 years, we were able to successfully identify candidates for key technical roles.

    We compliantly sourced and supported new hiring needs across Latin America and built out a project team of Construction & Commissioning Engineers, streamlined the client’s processes and improving their time to hire.

    The Outcome

    We successfully retained key contractors, helping our client work towards completing this $800 million order to include power transmission, fuel supply solutions and a full-service maintenance contract.

  • Our Client’s Challenge

    Our client, a Chinese Construction and Engineering Company, was the main contractor for a large Desalination Project within the United Arab Emirates. Our client was new to the region and the Desalination project was the largest project that they had ever won. Because of this, they required an external workforce solutions specialist to support their visa, recruitment and payroll needs.

    Our Solution

    We appointed a dedicated local account manager who was supported by a wider specialist team of finance specialists, travel coordinators and Government liaison officers – all of whom had in-country experience.

    We supported 15 expatriate personnel with compliant visas and payroll and sourced engineers for the project’s Electrical, Marine, Civil and QA/QC departments.

    The Outcome

    Our sophisticated processes, coupled with our vast database of contractors who were ready to begin a new assignment, saved significant money for our client. Their mobilisation costs for visas and flights were greatly reduced because we were able to tap into the local market, which also meant that onboarding was quick and new hires could hit the ground running in their new working environment.

  • Our Client’s Challenge

    Our client, a leading global power and transmission business, needed to appoint a new UK Managing Director, with a unique skillset, for one of its divisions.

    Our Solution

    Because the skillset required was so niche (i.e. someone with low and medium voltage sales knowledge, as well as experience of managing a market-leading business) we had to take an extremely targeted approach.

    We dedicated a search consultant full time to the project and tasked a team of skilled researchers with mapping the talent. Following an extensive search process, we compiled a shortlist of 5 potential candidates.

    The Outcome

    3 people were invited for the second stage of interviews, with one being chosen for a final stage interview and presentation. An offer was made and accepted and the candidate is now successfully performing the role.

    Our client, a major electricity provider in Australia, needed assistance staffing across their 8 Power Stations in the Northern Territory. However, the remote location of their assets, coupled with a shortage of skilled candidates due to competitor projects means that the client has struggled to locate a sufficient number of technical talent.

    We engaged closely with the client to develop a deep understanding of the recruitment challenges facing the organisation as well as their company culture.

    We then used this knowledge when reaching out to our national network of experienced candidates in the Power-Gen sector and across multiple recruitment campaigns.
