Our Client’s Challenge
Our client, a Chinese Construction and Engineering Company, was the main contractor for a large Desalination Project within the United Arab Emirates. Our client was new to the region and the Desalination project was the largest project that they had ever won. Because of this, they required an external workforce solutions specialist to support their visa, recruitment and payroll needs.
We appointed a dedicated local account manager who was supported by a wider specialist team of finance specialists, travel coordinators and Government liaison officers – all of whom had in-country experience.
We supported 15 expatriate personnel with compliant visas and payroll and sourced engineers for the project’s Electrical, Marine, Civil and QA/QC departments.
Our sophisticated processes, coupled with our vast database of contractors who were ready to begin a new assignment, saved significant money for our client. Their mobilisation costs for visas and flights were greatly reduced because we were able to tap into the local market, which also meant that onboarding was quick and new hires could hit the ground running in their new working environment.
