NES Global Talent are currently looking for a HSE Coordinator to join our Houston based operation that supports the Americas business.

NES Global Talent is a global workforce provider company with offices in Houston, California, New Orleans and Midland. Based in Houston, the HSE Coordinator will be instrumental in contributing to overall health, safety and environmental expertise of our safety program.

The HSE Coordinator is a dynamic position – responsibilities of this position will play a key role in the growth and maintenance of the NES Global Talent Management System.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and create client position profiles in safety compliance database
  • Provide assistance to recruiting personnel with high level tracking of placement workers training and certifications
  • Maintain all the contractor online contractor databases  ex: ISNetworld, Comply Works, Avetta
  • Manage and maintain the safety management system including safety manual policies and procedures.  This will include re-vamping policies and procedures to comply with OHSA Staffing Firm legislation
  • Compile & maintain safety statistics as required
  • Perform and or assist in incident investigations as required
  • Manage all workers comp claims as required
  • Create Health and Safety training programs in power point or our LMS system as required 
  • Provide guidance and support to all staff for any Health and Safety questions and issues
  • Perform field visits for new hires or terminations as required
  • Develop, organize and implement the monthly office safety meetings
  • Be willing to attend client meetings throughout US as required
  • Develop and present on Health & Safety topics as required
  • Design safety forms in excel or word as required 
An Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • OHSA diploma or CSP preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of managing a company safety management system with prior field level safety experience in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Prior experience managing workers comp claims
  • Must be competent with computers, software and web applications
  • Must be very competent and have prior experience working with ISN, ComplyWorks & Avetta
  • Knowledge of the staffing industry and the OHSA guidelines for staffing firms would be considered a strong asset
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision and must be self-motivated
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Oil & Gas industry experience highly preferred
