Job Description

Primary Responsibilities Include:
  • Screen, recruit, interview and place recruitment of external senior management and engineering professionals in direct hire and contract positions within the Oil & Gas and chemical industries;
  • Carry out contingent hire, retained search, executive search, and search and selection recruitment strategies;
  • Work directly with a client’s Human Resources department to develop and implement personnel strategies;
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Oil & Gas capital projects, leading internal focus groups, seminars and presentations to equip the direct hire team with Oil & Gas project and industry knowledge;
  • Present to high-level executives with potential and current clients, the company’s capabilities and professional personnel solutions;
  • Perform market analysis and review and identify leads in developing business;
  • Meet with candidates and consult on maximizing new employment opportunities;
  • Present senior level and niche engineering professionals to potential clients;
  • Liaise with candidates to communicate job details, including duties, responsibilities, compensation, benefits, working conditions and promotion opportunities;
  • Mentor junior recruiters;
  • Assist with carrying out performance reviews and escalate performance management and disciplinary action where appropriate; 
  • Set key performance indicators for team;
  • Drive new business through continuous network growth, ensuring efficiency and excellence in delivery while providing key clients with cost efficient, safe and compliant solutions relevant to their individual business needs;
  • Liaise within internal departments to ensure contractor and client requests are completed in a timely manner;
  • Monitor service deliverables and desk performance on a regular basis;
  • Assist with onboarding new contractors (W2 and 1099) ensuring that drug screens and safety training for new contractors prior to mobilization are completed and fully compliant;
  • Maintain confidential records for future internal and client audits;
  • Review contract work orders, employment agreements and amendments;
  • Prepare and coordinate rate proposals for assigned clients, including negotiate contractor rates, increases and rate reductions;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employees/contractors with companywide initiatives, including monthly phone calls, emails, and quarterly face to face meetings;
  • Provide weekly operational report including mobilizations and demobilizations with estimated Gross Profit to the NES senior leadership team;  
  • Maintain consistent and accurate client, contract, project, job, candidate and placement records within the NES applicant tracking system.  
Minimum Requirements for Position:
  • 5 years of experience in recruitment of Marketing professionals; developing and negotiating contracts with major corporations and public bodies; researching market trends; developing relationships with clients to retain customers and generate business
