Job Description

Support HR Service Delivery on Compensation and Benefits programs and events, including Salary negotiations and Salary reviews, Bonus programs, Share programs, Performance related pay programs and others that are developed for use within Aker Solutions.  Maintain EMEA accuracy regarding Career Model data and calibration. Support HR Service Delivery in strategy for reward across EMEA, including specific topics and requirements in different countries within this region

    • Provide benchmarking information and data to cover all of the above scope, including offshore, site and contractor information. Maintain vendor relationships to ensure up-to-date information is available to the business.  Translate benchmarking data for internal use, direction and guidance

    • Align and liaise with the corporate Compensation and Benefits function, the global process owners and global colleagues as required. Contribute to the development and improvement of Compensation and Benefits policies and procedures

    • Focal point for benefits programs and insurances, liaising with Aker Insurance and any brokers as required. Recommend benefits and changes to these on an annual or as-required basis.  Liaise with reward platform providers, to ensure relevant provision connected to employer branding and total reward concept. Ensure tools and systems, including portals, are maintained and accurate. Provide project management expertise for updates and changes

    • Provide negotiating guidance and direction for regular reviews, including strategies for working with trade unions and avoiding dispute.  Participate in or lead, as appropriate, negotiations regarding trade union agreements, including the Offshore Contractors Partnership Agreement (OCPA). Support HR Service Delivery in relevant grievances or requests

    • Take ownership of and implement appropriate Compensation and Benefits HR global processes and sub-processes for EMEA, building relevant networks and relationships to influence, improve and deliver these within the region.  This will include liaison with third parties (for example in delivering Payroll services)

    • Liaise with providers of hired-in people, to ensure legal compliance on terms and conditions, compensation and benefits.  Ensure delivery of market data in support of business retaining competitiveness

    • Provide tender input as required and support the business commercially in its Compensation and Benefits decisions and strategies.  Provide input to executive pay and liaise with others in Aker Solutions in delivering requirements regarding executives, including relevant reporting to corporate. Liaise with global mobility colleagues and provide back-up and delegated services, in support of this group. Develop networks within non-HR functions, including Finance and Tax

    • Ensure accurate reporting, data provision and information, including compliant legislative reporting (eg Gender Pay Gap reporting or levy reporting)

    • Lead specific relevant projects that are designed to change, update or improve Compensation and Benefits provision. Provide support to HR Service Delivery generally, assisting through particular HR projects to ensure whole team delivers for EM Bachelor or master within HR/Management, relevant experience can compensate for lack of educational qualifications

    • Working knowledge of English language

    • Extensive HR experience from international organisations, including in areas of Compensation and Benefits

    • Thorough knowledge of employment law legislation and working knowledge of legislation related to Compensation and Benefits

    • Working familiarity with trade union agreements and managing contractors

    • Detailed knowledge and experience of offshore compensation environments, including collective agreements
