  • Ensuring your project is delivered on time, to a high quality standard and within budget
  • Negotiating with subcontractors
  • As the Estimator you will be responsible for site take offs, tendering and pricing of future works
  • Liaise directly with subcontractors and vendors/suppliers
  • Directly interface with clients when obtaining scope of works and project brief
  • Controlling and managing all aspects of the project – both operational and commercial
  • Mentoring lesser experienced Project Managers
  • Ensuring compliance with OHS standards
  • Ensuring effective cost control and efficient running of the projects
  • Construction Management and programme planning
  • Project progress reporting and conduct weekly meetings
  • Liaise closely with the client ensuring the project runs to program
  • A Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction industry
  • Must have experience working in Australia
  • MUST have services experience due to complexity of the initial project
  • Ability to manage and mentor less experienced staff
  • A relevant tertiary qualification would be preferential
  • Experience estimating a multi-million dollar construction project (upwards of $2M)
  • A strong network of NSW based subcontractors would be highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enthusiastic attitude
