POSITION TITLE:  Regional Sales Manager – Controls & Automation

LOCATION: Houston, TX 

NES Global Talent is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world-wide client base within multiple industries. Our client is a leader in systems integration across the upstream, midstream, and downstream markets.  They are currently growing their sales team in Houston and looking to hire an experienced regional sales manager to cover the midstream & downstream oil & gas markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: 
Regional Sales Manager - Controls & Automation
  • Work with sales leadership team to drive business development in the Permian region in the upstream/midstream oil & gas markets
  • Develop quotes and proposals to clients
  • Work closely with clients to provide custom solutions to meet desired specifications
  • Help develop sales strategies and plans to help grow business market share
  • Constantly stay up to date with industry trends in technology as well as industry projects to help win business and provide feedback to internal engineering teams
  • Work 6+ month sell cycles
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: 
Regional Sales Manager – Controls & Automation
  • BS in Engineering preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of experience within the upstream, midstream, and/or downstream markets with a focus in automation and controls
  • Strong track record of winning new business as well as further developing existing clients
  • Experience working for a systems integrator a plus!
  • Ability to travel 40% or more along the gulf coast region
  • Strong business development hunter mentality
  • Ability to work remotely 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
