Job DescriptionThis role represents a great opportunity for a leading maintenance engineer to secure their next permanent role working for an internationally recognised mining operator. You will be based on site in Launceston, Tasmania playing a key role to ensure safe and effective maintenance is carried out for both planned and unplanned works. You shall be joining an inclusive workplace, with a strong culture of care and accountability, where everyone is listened to and valued.
This is a permanent role and relocation assistance will be offered for the right candidate to move to Launceston for this role.
As part of the Plant Reliability Engineering team, you will play a key part in production optimisation, by applying reliability engineering principles to equipment performance and solutions to equipment based problems through failure and root cause analysis techniques. You will also be analysing and providing data to the operations to ensure that life cycle costs and performance are optimised
You will be self-motivated with a desire to learn new skills, have a sound track record in pro-active problem solving, and be able to communicate at all levels.
Your use of initiative and a desire to continuously improve business performance will be utilised in a dynamic team environment.
To ensure your success in this role, you must possess a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering. A demonstrated commitment to Environment, Health and Safety is essential as is previous experience in a plant engineering environment.
