Head of European Customer Services and Logistics – Milton Keys – up to £80000 + Pension +bonus

 

I currently have the opportunity for a head of logisitic to join one of the UK’S biggest brands in the food and FMCG industry. The Manufacturing and distribution site based in Milton Keys and Battersea and has a reputation for being at the forefront of technology, producing some of Britain’s best known brands.  I am looking for an experienced Logistic professional for a permanent position in the UK, with occasional travel. We are looking for a Logistic professional who can lead and develop the European customer services and logistics teams.  

 

Head of logistics – Role responsibilities
  • Responsible for 4 direct reports and 40 indirect
  • Lead distribution and logistics teams  in the UK and Germany
  • Responsible for controlling and challenging all logistics contracts (both international & domestic)
  • Provide operational and strategic leadership to ensure SHE Agenda is delivered
  • Develop the European Customer Service Strategy recognising country specifics while driving for standardisation
Key skills
  • Degree – Logistics or operational
  • Min 8yrs experience in logistics
  • Management experience
  • Familiarity with warehouse systems / Transport costings
Benefits – Logistics
  • £70-80,000 salary per annum
  • £7200 car allowance
  • Up to 15% paid bonus
  • Pension up to 17% contribution
