Information Management Coordinator – 4 Year Contract – Farnborough

Information Management Coordinator Essential:- Information Management Coordinator to have a minimum of 10 years experience of Project Engineering on Major Capital Projects within the Oil & Gas Industry.  Excellent understanding of Various computerised systems used by major EPC contractors i.e. DMS, Data Collection Systems, SmartPlant suite, PDMS, Progress Measurement, Quality Systems. Compliance monitoring & QA QC activities to support information

Information Management Coordinator Job Description:
  • Must have understanding of the challenges of collecting, delivering, & maintaining information in both the MCP & Base Business
  • environments.
  • Good understanding of current MCP IM execution strategies & the related systems of record to support these strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage multiple external stakeholders. This includes various organizations including but not limited to : BU, FE, ITC, MCP, & EPC
  • Knowledge of data transformation processes to support end customer system data deliveries.
  • IM Strategic Direction, Practices, Governance & Compliance Responsible for provision of efficient, cost effective & coordinated IM resources, services & solutions to ensure the custody transfer of MCP IM records. Encompassing all MCP information generated or acquired (structured & unstructured information physical & electronic mediums);
  • Assure the ongoing protection, availability & integrity of FGP information assets & resources to enable client to operate effectively during Phase 5.
  • Contribute to the strategic MCP direction on IM processes, tools & people
  • Information Management Coordinator to develop, implement & maintain an adequate suite of core IM processes, controls & practices for handover, including management/supervision of the OC & process.
  • Contribute to an implemented Governance framework & Compliance program
  • Provides a mechanism by which the quality/consistency of MCP IM is verified on a regular basis to ensure requirements are being met, resourcing is appropriate, recommendations for improvement are identified & acted upon
  • Develop strong relationships with FE & IM
  • Manage change - MOC on both the MCP & BU side to ensure a smooth handover.
Information Management Coordinator Functional Support Responsibilities:-
  • Contribute to the client’s Operational Asset Information Management
  • initiatives & strategy development
  • Implement a ‘fit for purpose’ Project communication, promotion,
  • awareness that includes,
  • Strategy, plan, schedule & progress metrics for custody transfer
  • Stakeholder engagement plan
  • Ongoing communication & promotion of processes & standards
