Job Description

      We are looking for a Senior HSE Advisor - Drilling, on a 12 months contract commencing as soon as possible.

Reporting into the Technical Lead you will be provide:

      • Support to drilling rig Safety Coaches

      • Development of Safety Case, Addendum or Revision for a drilling campaign.

      • Provide advice and input into daily operational calls

      • Act as Safety Coach offshore when required

      • Focal point for HSE statistics and development reports

      • Focal point for HSE review, distribution and presentation onshore

      • Input management of HSE events within company database

      • Conduct HSE assessments of tender submissions and HSE plans

      • Assist in the development and update of emergency and HSE plans

      • Participate/lead any incident investigation as required

      • Deliver Drilling HSE objectives and actions as allocated

      • Conduct audits and inspections and manage audit schedule

      • Drive continual improvement in HSE performance via HSE initiatives, and sharing of lessons learnt

      • Review new chemicals within company database

Qualifications & Experience:

      • Degree or post graduate qualification in Occupational Health & Safety

      • Current HUET and offshore medical

      • Qualified Lead auditor

      • TAPROOT investigation method trained

      • Minimum 10 years' experience in an HSE role

      • Minimum 5 years HSE experience within the Drilling department of an oil and gas operator, contractor or resource sector

      • Sound knowledge of HSE offshore safety and environmental regulations including the NOPSEMA managed OPGGSER and OPGGSA regulations
