POSITION TITLE:  Category Manager - Cementing Services



LOCATION: Midland



NES Global Talent is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world-wide client base within multiple industries. Our client is a leader in providing pressure pumping, cement, and acidizing services in the oil & gas market.  They are currently growing their sales team in the Permian region and looking to hire a Category Manager to grow their presence in cementing services based out of Midland.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

Category Manager - Cementing Services


    • Work with sales leadership team to drive business development in the Permian region focusing on the growing the frac services business unit

    • Have full P&L responsibility of the cementing business sales unit

    • Work closely with the field crew manager coordinating work schedules

    • Develop quotes and proposals to clients

    • Work closely with clients to provide custom solutions to meet desired specifications

    • Help develop sales strategies and plans to help grow business market share

    • Constantly stay up to date with industry trends in technology as well as industry projects to help win business and provide feedback to internal engineering teams



ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: 

Category Manager - Cementing Services


    • BS in Engineering preferred but not required

    • 10+ years of experience within the upstream oil & gas market with a strong focus in cementing services

    • Strong track record of winning new business as well as further developing existing clients

    • Experience selling to operators in the Permian region

    • Strong business development hunter mentality as well as account management skills

    • Ability to work remotely 

    • Strong communication and presentation skills
