Territory Sales Manager/ Field Sales – Material Handling Equipment – South East - £32k basic, £60k-£70k OTE, potential commission guarantee + company car, fuel card, pension, product training

As a result of continuous growth coupled with technological advancement my client is looking for a Rotating Equipment Sales Professional to manage, develop and grow a specific geographical territory. They want to recruit an experienced sales professional who will not only establish successful relationships with existing clients but at the same time will develop new business.

Specific material handling experience is not essential however Capital equipment sales experience is. Hard work, hunger, determination and a willingness to succeed are essential. Support will be ever present providing you bring these characteristics.

You will be required to work together with other departments ensuring agreed service levels are maintained and developed. In return the right candidate will be rewarded with an attractive salary, superb earning potential and will be joining an industry leader who dominate their sector.

 

Responsibilities


    • Pipeline and prospecting new clients and opportunities to achieving sales activity and targets

    • Building a winning relationship with existing client base

    • A clear demonstration of segmenting a market and a strategic approach within a specific territory

    • Key negotiation at C-level

    • Preparing and composing client proposals and presentations



Essential


    • Have a proven track record in capital equipment sales

    • Be able to work autonomously and have self-driven work ethic

    • Top level organisation and work management skills

    • Ability to interact and operate with all levels of the business

    • Be able to negotiate high level maintenance and service agreements



Desirable


    • Successfully territory growth and profit

    • Flexibility to be field based and control a specific region

    • Track record of high activity and sales

    • Face to face sales ability and experience
