Job DescriptionNES Global Talent is working exclusively with our client on an opportunity for an ICT Manager, to be based in Darwin. This senior level position, reports into the Executive, and will see you be responsible for a team. You will be accountable for coaching, developing and leading your team to achieve agreed objectives.
You will provide effective and commercial management of ICT infrastructure services and projects teams to support business efficiency and to ensure quality service provision by the contracted service providers.
Provide high level strategic advice to the Board, Chief Executive, senior executives and business unit managers on current and future IM and ICT capabilities, trends and directions.
Lead and manage the delivery of IM and ICT infrastructure Services and projects including the development of policies, procedures and practices to provide effective and efficient business and operations systems across the business & external stakeholders.
Define the required business and financial justification for major business system developments, aligned with the Corporation's strategic directions, and carry though such projects to implementation stage.
Provide strategic level leadership and management to multi-disciplinary service, technical and projects teams responsible for the integration of operational ICT services
Develop and maintain the Corporation’s Strategic ICT Infrastructure Plan and Business Plans that support the objectives of the Branch.
Experience/ Skills required:
Proven experience providing high level strategic leadership and resource management (financial, technical and human) with proven ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver a mission critical, complex evolving ICT environment.
Proven ability to provide high level specialist advice to the Board and executive on current and future IM and ICT capabilities, trends and directions in particular relating to Cyber security relevant to meeting business needs and managing risk
Proven Executive level contemporary leadership and management skills including business planning, HRM, HRD, budgeting and management of output performance.
Demonstrated ability to justify, lead and manage the development and implementation of information management frameworks, policies, principles and strategic plans within a technically complex service delivery environment.
