This role represents a unique opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join an award winning Property and Land Development Consultancy with offices located close to the Melbourne CBD. You will be provided with a long term career development opportunity, market leading salary and the chance to work on some of the state’s most significant upcoming projects. This position has been created due to growth and your direct report will be a highly respected Engineering Manager.
To be considered here, you must be degree qualified with extensive project experience – at least two years of which will be on land development related works. Ideally this will have been on Victorian projects and you will demonstrate passion for the projects and people you work with. Your communication and negotiation skills will be first class, as well as a strong desire to mentor and develop Civil Engineers in your team.
Your central responsibility will be to develop project programs and actively manage any associated risks and update project scope accordingly. You will be charged with preparing accurate and timely fee proposals and laisse with the client with respect to any variations. Additionally, the Project Manager will oversee financial and schedule activities and report back to the company Directors with respect to project outcomes and milestones.
