ITC Business Applications Lead ESSENTIALS:- A proven track record in Application maintenance & service delivery. Procure-to-Pay applications -Maximo. Financial & Accounting Systems -SUN Financials. Invoicing Applications – Filenet. Reporting Applications – Business Objects. SharePoint. Oracle & SQL databases. .NET technologies developing custom applications. Leadership experience must have experience of leading a team of more than 3 direct reports. Demonstrable understanding of diverse, multicultural work environment (Middle East experience preferable). Provide budgetary forecast for business case justifications & cost/benefit analyses for IT spending & initiatives. ITIL V3 foundation & at least 1 ITIL Intermediate certification, preferably V3 Service Operations. Analytical
ITC Business Applications Lead will be responsible for the delivery & support of over 20 applications & DR solutions which are hosted both on site & within cloud based solutions.
Working in a fast-changing environment the ITC Business Applications Lead will be required to lead a team of analysts & data base administrators with specialist skills maintaining trouble free operations, resolving operational issues & delivering projects to agreed costs & timescales, maintaining quality & ensuring compliance with relevant governance, regulations, standards & policies.
ITC Business Applications Lead to lead activities to recover from incidents & completing subsequent problem management & Root Cause Analysis. Produce & update application roadmaps including upgrade paths & end of sale/end of support information. Manage the implementation of project & activity, drafting SoR, monitoring progress, identifying key issues & risks. Take proactive remediation steps when required. Provide a structured weekly report that monitor progress, Incidents, Projects, Key Activity & Management Information. Agree, document & ensure that technical standards are adhered to. Agree, document & test standard operating procedure & ensure these are scheduled & completed as required. Work within applications, other ITC teams & vendors to develop, deploy, monitor, maintain, upgrade, provide data management, systems integration & application maintenance. Support other ITC teams with their solution design & project implementation
Provide budgetary forecast for business case justifications & cost/benefit analyses for IT spending & initiatives. Manage ITC Invoice Technical Approval & Value of Work Done. Monitor & manage contract & license termination dates & manage renewal process. Keep key documentation up to date to including supported applications, access control, CMDB & change requests. Ensure security vulnerabilities are assessed & appropriate action taken. Manage the end to end Release & Deployment process ensuring patching & hotfixes are applied as appropriate, keeping versions per the agreed roadmap. Use appropriate tools to monitor & manage applications reporting on capacity, performance & optimisation, taking remediation action as necessary. Assist with the procurement process for new contracts drafting SoR, SoW & Technical Questions, being part of a Technical Evaluation Team’s. Develop & maintain excellent relationships with a very diverse group of stakeholders, including Chinese & Iraqi JV partners, users, vendors & IT service organisations, communicating effectively with business process owners, key business users & Project Delivery Managers
Work closely with the BackOffice, Telecommunications & Service Desk Teams to ensure effective customer support to the business, sharing information & knowledge wherever possible through process, dialogue, collaborative working. Assist with defining & maintaining applications related portion of the DR plans, ensuring they are tested on a regular basis. Manage on going supplier relationships leading or participating in weekly operational reviews & monthly service reviews ensuring contract compliance & maximising value from contracts. Identify & progress continuous service improvement activities. Identify risks to service delivery, recommend options to address risks & execute approved options.
Education - University degree in the field of Computer Science / IT or related discipline or related equivalent experience.
