Job Description

NES Global Talent is working closely with a leading Environmental Consultancy located in Riverstone, New South Wales to identify a Senior Environmental Consultant for a full-time permanent role. The candidate must have strong engineering or environmental scientist experience delivering contaminated land projects in Australia.

Your responsibilities in the role

  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders to develop strong relationships
  • Preparing proposals to address client scope of work
  • Project delivery of commercial, residential, health-care, education and infrastructure projects
  • Field work, project management, analysis and reporting
  • Contaminated site investigation
  • Asbestos Investigation
  • Site remediation Management
  • Groundwater Investigation
  • Acid Sulphate Soil Investigation
  • Waste Classification
What you need to be successful in the role
  • Class C Australian Driver’s License
  • Bachelor Science (Environmental Science) Degree or relevant discipline
  • 4-10 years’ contaminated land design experience
  • Working towards Certified Environmental Practitioner (Site Contamination) or Certified Professional Soil Scientist
  • Good understanding of legislation and regulatory government bodies
  • Exposure to site investigation and visiting construction sites
  • Strong oral and written report writing skills
