The client has a successful history of providing full EPC projects due to their ability to offer, through their three divisions. They offer a full array of services including engineering, design, fabrication and on-site construction.

General Purpose:

The Senior Piping Designer is responsible for supporting the Mechanical/Civil design group. An ideal candidate will maintain relationships with the Engineering & Design staff. If placed as a lead on the project, the employee will need to work closely with the Project Management team.


    • Creates 3D piping models with limited supervision from Design Group Manager
    • Creates 3D steel models with limited supervision from Design Group Manager
    • Creates 3D concrete models with limited supervision from Design Group Manager
    • Creates and or modifies P&IDs as required
    • Generates and cleans up isometric drawings
    • Creates and/or backdrafts concrete detail drawings
    • Creates and/or backdrafts structural steel drawings
    • Creates and/or backdrafts piping plans

Job Requirements:

    • A minimum of 15 years of experience with design/drafting in the oil and gas industry
    • Good knowledge of AutoCAD, 2012 or newer preferred
    • Hands on experience with 3D piping software, preferably CADWorx
    • Working knowledge of Steel and P&ID packages
    • Ability to assign and check work of the design staff when needed
    • Understanding of OSHA and ANSI standards
    • Knowledge of Word and  Excel
