Job DescriptionThe Training Coordinator is charged with implementing US onshore technical and safety training program. This role is primarily responsible for: scheduling, facilitation (instruction) of training courses, content development (instructor-led training, computer-based training (CBT), and self-led training), maintaining training records, and clarifying training plans to ensure the safety and compliance of the workforce.
This role is based in Pecos, TX.
The mission of the Training & Competency Department is empowering the Noble Energy workforce to be productive, successful, and safe through competency-based training and assessments.
Skills: The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of safety and environmental compliance requirements for upstream and midstream oil and gas production, but is flexible enough to adjust training strategies, topics, and methodologies based on changing company requirements.
Ability to work with field and operations personnel, as well as EHSR staff, to deliver required process safety lessons in both an operational and a classroom environment.
Must be willing to begin training design process immediately upon hiring.
Maintain professional expertise by attending professional development conferences, monitoring regulatory changes, changes in the safety and health profession, and maintaining all professional certifications.
