Job Description

One of Australia’s fastest growing and diversified building, civil and maintenance contractors is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager. This role will see you employed on a permanent basis, operating from both their central Melbourne office and closely located sites. This represents a brilliant opportunity to join a multi-national company with a wealth of multi-disciplined industry experience and a high performance culture.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive front end management over all aspects of the project and to co-ordinate the project efficiently, within budget and safely. You will also need to ensure that you co-ordinate direct labour and subcontractors, provide advice on any technical and engineering issues as well as ensuring that all HSECQ requirements are complied with.
To be successful in this role, you will be degree qualified in engineering or construction management and possess a minimum of 5 years project management experience with extensive exposure to the Australian market. You will also need to be an Australian citizen with the ability to gain Defence Baseline Clearance and possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a high pressure but rewarding environment.
In exchange for your commitment to the role, you will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package including a company vehicle. This role also carries the potential for relocation within Australia for suitable candidates. Ultimately you will be joining a team of dedicated professionals in a challenging but cohesive organisation.
