Job Description

NES Global Talent is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world-wide client base within the oil & gas Industry. Our client is currently seeking Warehouse Personnel in Prince Rupert, BC. The rotation is 15/6 with a Fly-In/Fly-out option available if not local to Prince Rupert.

Summary of Responsibilities

As a Warehouseperson, your responsibilities include although not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain compliance to corporate procurement and internal control standards
  • Process all goods issues, receipts and transfers as required to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Facilitate the transfer or return of inventoried materials from Operations
  • Manage all aspects of financial transactions pertaining to inventory activity
  • Responsible for annual count reconciliations and manage periodic adjustments through ongoing cycle counts and ad-hoc adjustments
  • Organize warehouse inventory and stored equipment within the complex and storage facilities.
  • General maintenance of the yard and office complex.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators for inventory optimization
  • Deliver parts and materials to other locations in the field when required
  • Assist in issuing and maintaining site tool crib.
  • Work with vendors and transport companies to ensure equipment and materials are received in the timeliest and most cost-efficient manner
  • Ensure all duties are completed safely, in compliance with Client regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Provide leadership, mentorship and training to develop staff
  • Report to the Construction Manager
 

Qualifications

  • Preferred post-secondary credentials with a minimum five (5) years related work experience maintaining supply chain management or materials control or relevant oil and gas experience
  • Experience with SAP MM Module would be an asset
  • Ability to run a forklift and other material handling equipment (pallet jacks)
  • Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and document control experience
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service focused
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Class 5 driver’s license required
