Job Description
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Responsible for day-to-day contact with assets and provision of construction support to the Offshore/site teams
- Actively participate in construction methodology, constructability reviews and Task Risk assessments, ensuring method is developed throughout design phase.
- Setting out health & safety standards as per company procedures within the offshore/site teams
- Setting workscope priorities in line with the project/CSG plans
- Assigning workscopes within the onshore completions team
- Ensuring timely delivery of input to construction Smartpacks and workpacks and provide input as required
- Ensuring quality of the deliverables is maintained in line with corporate standards and procedures
- Assist with compilation of construction Smartpacks, jobcards and workpacks in line with Akers standards an Akims system
- Ensure that HS & E expectations are met onshore and offshore/site
- Raise change requests and provide input to cost and planning departments as required
- Occasional offshore/site visits to liaise with constructione teams, carryout constructability surveys, carryout audits to ensure compliance with procedures, workpacks and to carry out team briefings in conjunction with safety and HR depts
- HNC Construction related or experience equivalent
- Able to supervise construction work prep engineers
- Offshore supervisory experience would be an advantage
- Onshore experience in a construction engineering role
- Good leadership skills to lead others onshore and offshore
- Ability to work with self motivation and confidence
- Highly organised and able to prioritise jobs
- Good written and Oral communication skills
- Good IT skills including Navisworks viewer
- Must have current offshore survival, medical etc
