Job Description

Job Summary

  • Support the Valve & Measurement operations business by ensuring products and services are delivered right first time to customers.
  • Provide inspection and verification services to the operation team to ensure that product and services fulfil and comply with requirements prior to release to the next process and or customer.
  • Develop, promote and maintain business quality management system and processes in order to satisfy customer, ISO9001 and IEC17025 requirements
  • Help all our employees fully engage with our Quality Management System and constantly drive improvement, each and every day
  • Effectively manage quality resources using a risk based approach to quality
  • Maintain records of inspection, verification and release of products and services as evidence of conformity with acceptance criteria.
  • *Adhoc travel maybe required to bases, field locations and supplies when required for audits, inspections and verification of products and services.
Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide quality leadership to others by following all quality policies / processes / procedures and embracing flawless delivery and right first time, every time principles
  • Implement and maintain the quality management system in accordance with ISO9001 and IEC17025
  • Promote a strong quality culture throughout the organisation by listening, learning, helping, engaging and coaching others on quality issues and concerns
  • Communicate effectively with interested parties in all matters pertaining to product and service quality
  • Establish, promote and deliver on agreed quality objectives
  • Complete customer prequalification surveys, tender questionaires and contract quality specific quality management plans
  • Facilitate internal, external, accreditation and customer audits and meeting related to Quality
  • Prepare, control, review and approve quality management systems processes, procedures and support documents
  • Undertake vendor assessments and provide vendor support to improve supply chain capability and performance.
  • Promote and facilitate the use of SQ/PQ tools in quest, analyze data to establish tends, investigate root causes and establish effective correction and corrective actions with key stakeholders.
  • Perform incoming inspection and verification of; customer property, Intercompany supplied parts and products, vendor supplied parts, products and services. (Including documentation)
  • Perform in-process and final inspection and verification of goods, parts, products and services to ensure they conform to requirements prior to release to the next process and or customer. (Including documentation)
  • Create detailed product and service inspection records and reports including but not limited to Dimensional, Condition, NDE, RGR, audit and analysis.
  • Prepare, maintain and verify work pack quality records and documents as evidence of compliance to requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Effectively manage all aspects of calibration for all types of measuring equipment. Inclusive of identification of equipment, calibration database/register, records of calibration and quarantine of out of service equipment
  • Conduct welding and NDT inspection inhouse and at vendor premises as required
  • Comply with documented QMS, Inspection procedures, quality plans and ITPs
  • Transact processes on SAP optimus including; Quality transactions, QIR codes, QM lots etc. Self service for holidays, overtime, expenses, shopping cart etc
  • Continuous improve quality management system processes, interfaces and technology to ensure quality adds value to the business
  • Facilitate Quality Induction Training for new employees, or for existing employees whose roles have changed
  • Perform all duties as assigned by the V&M OPS Quality manager.
  • Follow company HSE processes and requirements, contribute to overall HSE performance by submitting observation and intervention cards (OI and RIR). Maintain good housing in all areas of quality.
 Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • (For Indonesian Nationality Only)
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering or technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3- 5 years in Quality/Manufacturing (Oilfield / Valve equipment experience. highly preferred).
  • Experienced in the inspection of workshop production
  • Experience in use of dimensional measuring equipment
  • Experience in managing and controlling calibration equipment
  • A detailed working knowledge of Quality Management Concepts and Standards, specifically ISO 9001,
  • ISO/IEC 17025, API Specification Q1 and Q2
  • A qualification in Quality Auditing, preferably at Lead Auditor status.
  • Experience and strong understanding of NDE, Welding, Coating, Blasting & Cleaning processes
  • Experience with industry standards (ISO 9001, API Q1, 6D, ISO17025).
  • Knowledge of pipeline valves, repair and remanufacture activities and assosiated services.
  • Knowledge of Flange Management, joint integrity and controlled bolting
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
