Job Description

We are currently seeking a Technical Trainer - ISSOW for a 6 month contract position. This role is a Perth based position and will be working across our client's onshore and offshore assets with some adhoc offshore travel included, as required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Development and implementation of ISSOW training plan across Operations
  • Ensure that adequate training is provided to enable all personnel to carry out their duties safely, effectively and efficiently in ISSOW
  • Identify and analyse training needs of staff through consultation with managers and supervisors.
  • Provide first point of contact for all ISSOW training requirements
  • Ensure employees are trained and assessed and compliant in accordance with site Training Needs Analysis and Training Delivery Plan
  • Ensure all training documentation is accurately completed and records are entered into the training data base
  • Manage assessment, reassessment and refresher training across all facilities
  • Tracking and reporting on ISSOW training requirements and training progress
  • Adhoc visits to our on and offshore facilities will be required.
Key qualifications, skills and experience required:

  • Appropriate Training and assessment qualifications Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110 or 6 or Certificate in Field based Training and assessment (10235NAT)
  • Tertiary qualifications in appropriate discipline
  • At least 3+ years in a similar role.
  • TBOSIET
  • The ability to obtain or currently hold offshore medical and associated certificates.
  • Experience in conducting and project/site training needs and gap analysis.
  • Demonstrate ability to design/develop training packages.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Professional training knowledge
  • Oil & Gas industry experience and knowledge of LNG business sector.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organisation.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and integrity.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use project management tools
  • Experience working with National Training Packages.
