Summary

NES Global Talent is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world-wide client base within the Oil & Gas industry. Our client, is a growing oilfield service company within the Oil & Gas industry, has a permanent opportunity for a Sales Manager to be based in Midland, TX.

Objective

This position manages all sales activities and results in the Permian region. This individual will participate in the development, implementation, and management of sales and marketing plan.

Essential Functions

  • Work with the sales team members, guide them, evaluate business opportunities, and promote products and services in new markets
  • Develop market rollout plans for new product and service introductions.
  • Partner with management to help in coordination and development of new products
  • Conduct and grow relationships with end users
  • Make regular sales calls in the region
  • Identifies and pursues growth opportunities; increases the company’s customer base
  • Establishes and implements sales plans as needed to support all target markets; achieves sales goals associated with revenue and profit targets
  • Maintains confidentiality of all matters
  • This position has 6 direct reports
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience
  • At least 8 years’ relevant experience; knowledge of company’s product lines
  • Demonstrates creative and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to assemble and organize multiple sources of intelligence into a clear market assessment.
  • Strong business acumen demonstrating ability to define, develop and execute new business opportunities.
