Our client has recently committed on two projects for a Site Manager to join their Auckland based team and continue the growth of their construction side of the business.
This newly created role will be the bridge between hands-on staff and Project Management with a large emphasis on Quality Assurance, Program Management and Health and Safety practices. In particularly, this company has established themselves as a major player within the Fit-out and Interiors sector for delivering bespoke projects nationally. They’ve invested time and effort into creating a collaborative and team-like culture that has resulted in low staff turnover and a lengthy presence within a competitive market.
Within this position there will be a large emphasis on stakeholder engagement with sub-contractors and clients so a high level of communications skills and professionalism is highly attractive. Proven experience delivering both residential and light commercial projects is a must.
Ideally we’re seeking the following:
- A carpentry or similar trade qualification, experience on the tools is preferable compared to a tertiary background
- A minimum of three years in a Foreman/Leading Hand position
- The ability to communicate confidently and credibly with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven experience delivering projects within New Zealand and having legal working rights within New Zealand
