Job Description

Requirements

  1. Engineering degree (any discipline)
  2. 12-15 years’ of chemical industry experience
  3. Minimum 2-5 years of construction experience required
  4. Experience in petrochemical and/or infrastructure projects
 

General Responsibilities:  

  1. BOO Scope of Work  - General coordination with JV  Partner and Design and Construction Contractors
    1. Interface Management
    2. Engineering Coordination
    3. Engineering and construction schedules
    4. Attend regular meetings at Site (St. James Parish – LA), and biweekly meetings at BRIS (New Orleans – LA)
    5. Attend weekly conference calls
    6. Review and follow up on monthly reports
    7. Coordinate monthly progress meetings
    8. Coordinate regular engineering review session with the Engineering team
    9. Prepared monthly progress summary
    10. Attend meetings with leadership teams
    11. Attend constructability meetings and construction review meetings at site
  2. Various other standalone work scopes   - Interface management

  3. Site Construction and Engineering Support for Infrastructure Areas:  i.e. Water Intake, Site Prep, MOF (Marine Offloading Facilities)
    1. Attend site meetings as requested to support construction activities
    2. Support Site team with engineering reviews.
    3. Support PM for High School Repurposing on technical documents, constructability assessments, site studies, and permits.   
  4. Engineering:
    1. Engineering coordination and review sessions for Infrastructure areas
    2. Coordinate and facilitate engineering packages with engineering firms
    3. Permits:  Support and coordination to the team
    4. RFQ packages coordination for engineering SOW including writing the SOW, defining list of bidders, and facilitate the technical and commercial evaluations.
  5. Procurement:
    1. Write SOW document for IFB and IFC packages provided by contractors (engineering firms)
    2. Coordinate bidders lists and support to Office and Site procurement teams.
