Job Description

NES Global Talent are pleased to be supporting the growth of a specialist division of a leading industrial gas manufacturer. 

Having secured a large project portfolio up until 2020, has opened the opportunity for a  project engineering role to support the delivery of new assets and supporting its project management team. Under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager, the Project Engineer will be responsible of:


1 – Plant Design & project Team Support

Defining plant architecture – layout drawings, pipe & cabling routing philosophy,

Mechanical Design – pipe isometric & sizing

Contribute to the definition of electrical and coms specifications (including control philosophy and control functional analysis documentation)

Communicates with sales, project developer, Finance, procurement, logistic and other related person as well as project owner.


2 – Plant Construction – Vendor Definition

Support RFQ for mechanical packages for plant construction

Support the supervision plant construction

Exploring way to generate budget savings

Monitors project schedule/delivery and actual status


3 –Plant Commissioning & Asset Transfer to Operations

Contribute to the definition and review of commissioning procedures (incl. control of SAT,


Coordination of plant commissioning on site – (ALAB will provide training to obtain


Participates of start-up of AL pieces of equipment/assets

Support asset transition from project to operations


4 - Quality and Safety

Complies with HSE, IMS requirement & manages compliance to local regulations.

Knows and respects procedures related to each disciplines

Ensures that proper corrective and preventive measures are in place for addressing

partner/stakeholder issues or complaints

Implements safety programs on construction sites at sees to their application


Proficient user of CAD (2D and 3D) – Autocad required

Process Control/Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical engineering Degree/Bachelor Degree

Experience – 2 to 5 years

Soft skills:

Willing and autonomous worker,

Good communication skills (oral and written),

Team worker,

Problem solving and critical/creative thinking,

Speaking French is a plus.

Previous experience in the gas industry
