Project is a subsea tie-in consisting of 4 wells (2 producers and 2 water injectors) offshore Angola, FPSO in a water depth of approximately 1400m. The subsea facilities are based around an extension of the existing flowlines and umbilicals.
The Project has largely completed FEED and is about to enter Execute.
The role is Systems Engineer, responsible for delivering the engineering from design through offshore construction and handover to operations. The Systems Engineer will report to the Engineering Team Lead but work closely with Operations team and the Project Contractor teams, including EPCI and SPS.
Set technical direction for the following system scopes:
- subsea flow assurance
- topsides process
- process safety
Support the procurement of relevant packages.
Work closely with Global Subsea Systems group (GSS) to manage EPCI-SPS interfaces.
Deliver seamless integration with existing brownfield facilities working closely with the Regional ‘Project and Mods’ teams for the topsides scope.
Degree in relevant Engineering discipline
Essential Experience and Job Requirements
Proven track record in detailed design of subsea systems.
Knowledge of topsides process systems.
Knowledge of BP’s technical practices and working with BP’s technical authorities.
Experience working with EPCI and SPS contractors.
Experience in offshore construction and pre-commissioning.
Experience working on brownfield projects or an operating facility.
