Job Description10 Month Contract
Working as part of the Gas Recycling Department the Senior Electrical Engineer will provide technical advisory services on all aspects of maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of all electrical equipment. This will include high voltage switchgear, high voltage motors, all medium voltage equipment, motor protection parameters and hazardous area equipment, generators, transformers, UPS equipment and battery chargers, submersible pump motors and a variety of equipment from the field area.
Assisting in the preparation of predictive and preventive maintenance programmes, planned shutdown works and analysis of equipment breakdowns and presenting recommendations for repair or modification.
Plans, supervises and coordinates the operational requirements of mains and standby power supplies in Gas Recycling.
Has a functional responsibility to all assigned electrical personnel in his area in the Gas Recycling Plant.
B.Sc in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 10 years electrical maintenance in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment high voltage and medium voltage requirements in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry including a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
