Job Description

C++ Feature Developer – Munich, Germany

The client is a global software development company with strong emphasis in the automotive domain. The business supports several major OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers and is currently supporting vast developing autonomous drive projects.

The cross functional team are looking to add to their skill set with several C++ programmers to assist in developing leading platforms for autonomous drive projects. You will get exposure to working with the world’s leading software engineers and have the opportunity to develop functional safety (ISO26262) and cyber security skills.


Responsibilities
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in developing object oriented software in C++ that is portable on various high performance embedded devices, with built in high level security
  • Work on a combination of projects from autonomous drive, actuators and sensors
  • Use localization techniques with HD Maps, Grid maps, SLAM and like
  • Use AI algorithms like A*, dynamic programming, reinforcement learning to make driving policy decisions and path planning
  • Practice model predictive controls
  • Integrate and validate techniques to enable driving in virtual environments to test driving scenarios (graphics and game development skills)
  • Unit Testing, Code Coverage testing
 
Essential
  • Object oriented programming C++ programming and ability to write clean code
  • Expertise in computer vision, deep learning, controls, 3D graphics and security
  • Solid understanding of linear algebra, calculus, random variables
  • Linux e.g. Ubuntu /Windows 10
  • Knowledge of robotic operating systems (ROS) and VEOS
  • Understanding of Container e.g. docker, VMs, Openstack, Nodepool, Openshift
  • Use of repository’s e.g. git and review systems github, artifactory, svn
  • Experience with continuous integration systems (zuul, Jenkins)
  • Hands on experience on Unit testing and Functional Testing
  • Good written and verbal communication in English
 
Desirable
  • Experience on Automated driving or ADAS feature development
  • Experience with agile methodologies like Scrum, Large-Scale Scrum ( LeSS)
  • Exposure to Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI)
