Job Description


Graduate Engineer with degree or diploma from University or Engineering school.

2 Years relevant experience, or minimum 2 years experience as Engineer

General knowledge of specialized engineering systems and technology. Safety training in construction related work.


Essential functions of the job

Ensure the project electronic Completions Database is prepared and maintained.

Main tasks

Ensure the project Completions Database is implemented and physically installed at all sites and offices as defined by the Project Manager / Client.

Ensure downloading of engineering data from engineering and procurement databases is managed and that vendor data is being transferred with a minimum of manual input.

Prepare and maintain the database on a daily basis.

Prepare and issue status reports on completions activities.

Monitor progress of site Scope of Work (Mechanical Completion and Inspection Test Report (ITRs)

Monitor status and progress of Punch lists including A and B punch list items..

Assist in compilation and handover of system dossiers.

In cooperation with the IT Department, propose means of communication between project site and home office, including electronic transfer and capacity.

Cooperate with the Site Construction Manager in verifying correctness of ITR reports.

Prepare Electronic System Boundary Drawings – under direction of Commissioning Manager.

Review Excel Database to confirm Tag/ITR association matches the ITR Matrix.

Completions Database software use– Perform all scanning & uploading, changes, ITR generation and timely issue to the Site Team according to the project schedule

Check between P&ID’s and Completions Database Subsystems to confirm consistency.

Review ITR for accuracy.

Hand Over Dossier development and filing all completed ITR’s, vendor data etc.

Vendor Call Out Plans – Can find/transmit basic call-out information from PM / CM to excel sheets and build/manage the POB spread sheet

Integrated Asset Planning – Interface between Vessel, Construction Manager and Vendors to develop and maintain an overview of Who will travel to the Unit & when. Compile this information in an M.S. Excel Spreadsheet
