Job DescriptionNES Global Talent have a Marine Technical Authority position for a Major Operator for a start in June.
This will be an onshore based role with trips offshore.
The Marine TA is responsible for ensuring the integrity and suitability of marine related safety critical elements throughout the entire asset life cycle. The TA must manage deviations to performance standards through risk assessment and recommending appropriate remediation plans, as well as devising a fit for purpose marine integrity management system to address ageing and life extension through to cessation of production.

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Own all Marine related performance standards. Maintain the performance standards and approve any changes to them. Resolve issues identified by Operational Verification and Class Inspections which require technical expertise or amendment to the Performance Standard. Ensure close out of issues raised by regulatory bodies (e.g. HSE, DECC). Candidate should have working knowledge of the following systems:
- Station Keeping and Mooring Systems
- Turret Systems
- Hull and Tank Integrity
- Shipside Valves
- Tank Venting Systems
- Stability and Ballast Systems
- Shuttle Tanker Position keeping
