Senior Quality Systems Officer - Wrexham - £25,000 to £32,000

An expanding multinational Pharmaceutical company who are one of the largest generic Pharmaceutical manufacturers in the UK are looking to appoint a Senior Quality Officer to their Quality department to add to their 350 strong work force (8,000 worldwide).

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving site quality systems in a manner that is cost effective, meets business expectations and timescales, and is GMP compliant.

You will be required to monitor the effectiveness and level of site wide compliance of all quality systems and quality targets, whilst maintaining GMP operating procedures for site quality systems, preparing Technical Agreements, and Annual Product Reviews, together with any other reports and reviews, as defined by cGMP requirements ensuring that all products manufactured on site are, and remain, compliant with Company, EU and International Standards in terms of cGMP and product Safety, Quality and Efficacy and that they are released for sale according to all relevant regulatory requirements.

You will have a thorough understanding of cGMP, GAMP and other current best practices, also the ability to work with concepts and practices often outside the original area of academic qualification. You will have a degree (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline, membership of a recognised professional body (eg RSC) would be an advantage.  

You will either be degree qualified in a relevant area (Chemistry, Pharmacy or similar) or worked your way up to a Senior Quality position within the pharmaceutical industry.
