Job Description

For our client, international company in advanced automated machinery and packaging materials solutions, we are looking for:
 
Sales Engineer Packaging 
Working place: Remote/home based
 
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new and existing sales opportunities through mailings, research, cold calling and trade show leads including occasional travels with our sales force to trade shows and sales and customer meetings
  • Support your team and manager by maintaining regular contacts with customers and developing new opportunities, i.e. by monitoring market development, by increasing customer service and initial sales activities, by calling prospective and established customers, by offering suitable products, services and ensuring delivery as agreed etc.
  • Conducting presentations and sales meetings, negotiating and concluding contracts with contractors
  • Acquisition and preparation of offers and proposals of technical and price solutions
  • Act as liaison to your field sales colleagues, respond to their requests for sales quotes and respond to our customers
  • Co-operate with our internal supply chain resources to ensure suitable service conditions for markets under responsibility
  • Ability and availability for domestic and foreign business trips through Poland (over 50% of working time)
 
Requirements:
  • University Degree – technical faculties preferred
  • Previous work experience of 3+ years from a field sales / internal sales / customer service function ideally within machinery/equipment/packaging industry
  • Creativity and innovation, entrepreneurial spirit for growing the business
  • Strong interest and drive to identify/build and meet customer needs plus cultural empathy and team-player attitude to operate in complex multinational organization
  • High degree of accuracy, good time-management and priority setting skills are important
  • Energetic, dedicated and enthusiastic work approach combined with good self-management (without constant direct supervision) to meet deadlines and to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Valid driving license
