NES Global Talent is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world-wide client base within the oil & gas Industry.

Our client, a major Oil and Gas operator, has an opportunity for an Onboarding Administrator. This is a site based position with transportation provided from Lac La Biche, Bonnyville or Cold Lake. The shift will be 4 days on/ 3 days off.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and assistance with Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Be available to answer questions or concerns
  • Ensure the orientation packages are prepared for each new employee
  • Become familiar with site positions and areas and coordinate with these areas when they hire new employees
  • Greet, assist and direct visitors and new clients.
  • Facilitate orientations and competency checks of new clients (sit client at a computer, assisting with log in, etc. as required).
  • Enter data into Excel worksheets.
  • Administer vehicle access program (provide rearview mirror tags and record vehicle information to enter into P2000, including driver name(s), as required).
  • Receive, direct and relay telephone messages and emails.
  • Input data into P2000 access security system.
  • Create and issue site access cards. Request for Proposal
  • Administer Employee & Personal Lock (sign out and provide personal locks as required; they are required to work on equipment).
  • Receive and process all new hire requests from HR and work groups.
  • Facilitate presentations as required to new hires.
  • Facilitate company practices and work processes such as New & Young Workers, Safety Commitments, Car Seal
  • Guide new hires through mandatory training module completions during onboarding week.
  • Manage ordering and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for new hires.
  • Assign radios, personal locks to all new hires.
  • Schedule new hires for safety training, fit testing.
  • Tour new hires of assigned workplace and introduce to their new teams.
  • Verify that all new hires are signed up to the New & Young Worker Program.  Manage close out and filing of New & Young Worker documentation.
  • 30 and 90 follow up of our New and Young Workers
  • Camps and travel accommodations for new hires
  • Scanning and storing all Ops Training Packages. Support Ops trainers with individual request regarding these packages.
  • Organizes tours with the Emergency Services department.
  • Any and all other duties or tasks that are assigned.
Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • High regard for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient use in MS Office applications including: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
