Currently Queensland’s Energy industry is in an exciting growth phase as such we are now seeking an experienced Operations Program – Program Coordinator to fulfil a 12 month contract position based in Queensland.
 
As a key member of the Owner’s team the primary responsibility of the Operations Program – Program Coordinator for coordinating equipment overhaul activities to ensure materials are available for field execution activities.  The role will report to the Operations Program Engineer within the Operations Program team. The role has no direct reports.
 
Responsibilities will include though are not limited to:
  • Working in conjunction with the Material Coordinator to maintain accurate records for all equipment in the rotating pools;
    • Coordinate movement of equipment between QGC and external vendors, in conjunction with the Operations Program Material Coordinator;
    • Monitor overhaul stock levels and identify production risks / opportunities;
    • Provide regular and ad hoc reporting to the Operations Program Engineer and the Operations Program team;
    • Develop short term overhaul forecasts and issue to the overhaul contractors;
    • Monitor overhaul schedules and identify production risks / opportunities;
    • Assess and approve quotes / payment claims for overhaul activities;
    • Coordinate warranty claims on overhauled equipment during warranty period;
    • Support the Operations Program Engineer to identify and implement appropriate mitigation measures for the identified production risks;
    • Support the Operations Program Engineer to assess and respond to Technical Queries (TQs) and Schedule Change Notices (SCNs);
    • Raise and approve work orders as required;
    • Build strong working relationships, integration & alignment with stakeholders including Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Planning, Scheduling and Supply Chain;
    • Support readiness for execution in compliance with the QGC Integrated Activity Planning Process;
    • Ensure effective management of change and compliance with the Management of Change procedures in all aspects of program delivery.• Working in conjunction with the Material Coordinator to maintain accurate records for all equipment in the rotating pools;

 Experience will include:
  • Minimum of 5+ years oil & gas experience;
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in program or project coordination role;
  • Experience in managing Repairable Materials;
  • Basic Inventory and Materials Management knowledge;
  • Experience in utilising a CMMS for the management of materials and execution of work (Maximo will be highly regarded);
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills;
  • Commitment to HSE, demonstrating commitment to safety through language, behaviour and actions;
  • Excellent problem solving, collaboration, communication, interpersonal, client-service, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills;
  • Ability to react and adjust to changing conditions and priorities in a live operation;
  • Experience in supporting site and office-based teams;
  • Ability to support multiple programs of work and achieve synergies.
 
Along with this your professionalism and leadership qualities will enable effective communication with the team ensuring cohesion and commitment to organizational processes and safe work practices.  

The incumbent will be will be based in Brisbane, QLD on a 5/2 Mon - Fri roster, with occasional travel to site required to travel to sites in the Surat Basin.  In return for your commitment you will be offered excellent day rate commencing for 12 contract term along with the opportunity to establish yourself with an international expert.
