Job Description

JOB ROLE:

  1. Assist Head of Contract Services Team Leader in Planning, directing, supervising and controlling the execution of technical and fiscal functions of the contracts
  2. Monitoring of integrated plans by working closely with contactors planners
  3. Interaction with contractors on aspects of resources allocations, HSE measures, monitoring of critical milestones.
  4.  Prepare and maintain Risk register for all contracts and conduct Risk Analysis review and draw mitigation plan.
  5. Ensure all planning Deliverables are received from the contractors per the contract requirements.
  6. Coordinate with planning teams in PD & Assets for any collection of input for management reporting.
  7. Attend the meetings with Contract planners, when any planning activities need contract team’s interactions.
  8. Attend required meetings & support Operations team involved for planning the shutdown activities with required resources.
  9. Contractor’s workload Forecasting & Analysis based on Program Builds.
  10. Improvement in planning processes by Contractor’s planning scope
  11. Develop effective project control team to track and monitor progress as well as buget expenditure performance for new long term Service Contract.
  12. Contract management support for governance.
  13. Coordination and Computation of contractor’s annual performance Bonus and Penalties.
  14. Developing and monitoring the contract KPI’s and Contract Assurance Plan
  15. Review and monitor Post-Award Contract Management Plan
  16. Schedule Control Assurance joint reviews for contractor deliverables
  17. Facilitate Do-Ability Workshops for ongoing Contracts
  18. To collect monthly and weekly HSE data from all the contractors and compile the data for weekly and monthly report
  19. Develop and track contract related business plan i.e. Audit, GMB meeting etc
  20. Followup with HSE team to closeout any Incident actions on the Contracts
  21. Coordinate verification of the HSE performance of the Contractors as per KPI’s
  22. Assist the HSE team to update annual monitoring plan for CH tasks
  23. Lead, Monitor and provide administration support for:
    1. Contract optimization review
    2. Continuous improvements initiatives/Lean Initiatives
    • Governance Board Meeting Planning
    1. Quarterly Contracts Expenditures and Expenditure Variances
    2. Quarterly Contract ICV statistics vs. Contractual ICV KPIs and Plans
    3. Contracts workshops e.g. Risk Workshop, Strategy Workshops, etc
    • CMP quarterly Updates
    • Quarterly CMT updates to TDG

  Experience/Qualifications Needed


  1. B.Sc. in any Engineering Discipline.
  2. Minimum 15 years’ experience in Planning & Scheduling in Oil & Gas projects and Contracts Management Planning
  3. Thorough knowledge of planning software Eg. Primavera, MS Project
  4. Middle East work experience essential, aware of cultural differences and a clear communicator demonstrating high levels of personal integrity.
  5. Ability to manage the relationship with key stakeholders.
  6. Good spoken / written English.
  7. PC literate, good inter-personals, communication and expression skills.
