NES Global Talent is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world-wide client base within the oil & gas Industry. Our client, a large Oil and Gas operator, is currently seeking on OEMS Governance Lead for a contract role in Calgary.The individual must be local or have their own accommodations, as no LOA is given. The shift is Monday-Friday.

 

Job Overview

 

 

 

  • Mature and improve the OEMS across E&P (Exploration & Production),  through identifying and driving OEMS priorities based on risk and value, implementing OEMS as an integrated management system and ensuring an effective governing documents hierarchy and process is implemented

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

 

 

 

  • Supporting the timely identification, assessment and treatment of our key risks (links to E2/17)
  • Effectively communicating the health of our controls to all stakeholders (links to E1/2/13)
  • Creating execution clarity through the implementation of effective business processes and procedures (links to E6/11)
  • Supporting the mapping of training and competency for each role within each business process (links to E7)
  • Driving performance improvements by measuring and verifying in the right places (links to E16/18)
  • Developing strong relationships internally and externally, sharing successes and leveraging best practices (Across all Elements) utilizing our OD Behaviors
  • Developing, implementing and sustaining a scalable, fit for purpose OEMS framework for all facets of our business.
  • Effectively drive OEMS Governance to set expectations and drive standardization across E&P
  • Effectively manage the OEMS Stewardship to drive oversight and visibility into the health of our OEMS Implementation and Sustainment
  • E&P Business Integration through the enablement and application of operational excellence (ie. setting priorities, focus and alignment across E&P)
  • Support the management of our Enterprise Risk
  • Support and uunderstand and govern the risk profile for E&P and proactively monitor controls
  • Support E&P’s Process Sponsors and Process Leads
  • Fulfill responsibilities to support the risk management, self-assessment and management review roll up
  • Fulfill responsibilities to support the EPLT (Exploration and Production Leadership Team) and regional leadership teams on integrating their risk profile and assurance program into
    • their daily activities, driving priorities and performance opportunities
    • Build and sustain an operationally excellent culture

 

Required Qualifications:

 

 

 

 

  • Experience and Education
  • OMS proficient

 

 

  • 10+ years working with management systems and risk management
  • Post Secondary education – (Business degree, computer sciences etc.)
  • Skills and Knowledge:
  • Operational management system experience
  • Risk Management Experience
  • Enablon Platform awareness
  • SAP Knowledge
  • Intranet Awareness
  • Governance and stewardship processes
  • Identification and standardization of key business processes
  • OEMS integrated plan development and stewardship
  • Management Review planning and execution
  • Support annual OEMS Self Assessment planning and execution
  • Management of the E&P OEMS Webpages
  • OEMS expertise
  • Change Management skills
  • Governing documents expertise
  • Sustaining the E&P OEMS Frameworks
