Technical Engineer

Summary


The main function of a technology engineer is to assist and concentrate on bringing new technologies into deployment.


Job Responsibilities:
- Capture and index new concepts or technologies applicable to subsea projects, operations and
maintenance.
-Track technology qualification readiness status and deployment opportunities.
-Track expenditures with Energy Technology Company (ETC) for Subsea Projects and Operations.
-Utilization of Technical and Presentation Software Tools Coabis (or other) software for subsea asset
performance management.
-Tracking anomalies for subsea integrity and reliability issues.
-Tracking Subsea Scope in Turnaround Impact Tool.
-Track CAPEX and OPEX Project Budgets and Expenditures.
-Assist in the publishing of subsea technical publications and guidelines.
-Focal point for ArcGIS software management for 3D subsea system architectures.
-Technical Data & Resource Management.
-Track resolution of Field Performance Reports generated by Subsea Equipment Vendors.
-Compile and report on feedback to Advanced Supplier Relationship contractors to global supply chain group.
-Update Subsea Activity Schedule for upcoming offshore and project milestone events.
-Coordinate updates to Subsea Engineering Team SharePoint site.
-Track Technical Codes and Standard Compliance and Exceptions.
-Manage resource planning of technicians and shop workloads for Subsea Equipment Vendor.
-Track schedules for subsea system integrity and reliability inspections.
-Provide logistical support to manage movement of subsea tools and equipment to and from docks.
-Subsea Equipment & Tooling Inventory Management.
-ROV Video Storage Maintenance.
-Tracking Instructions to Contractors, Quotes and Invoices.

Education and Experience:
-Degree in Engineering or Technology is preferred
-8-10 years of experience in supporting a highly diverse technical based team
