Job DescriptionNES Global talent are seeking a Verification & Management of Change Coordinator for a 12 month renewable contract out of Aberdeen
Applicants MUST hold an EU passport and be eligible to work within the UK.
Duties are as follows:
Acts as Focal point for Independent Verification Body (IVB) to coordinate operational verification onshore and offshore activities, as well as Verification of Management of Change (VMoC).
Owns the Verification Scheme and revise based on audit findings and/or other identified opportunities for improvement.
Arranges/plans offshore verification activities. Communicates with assets/operations to align offshore verification activities with planned maintenance to minimise disruption, manage cost and maximise activity liquidation. As required, visits offshore installations to support offshore verification activities.
Reviews new and revised performance standards.
Coordinates with offshore and onshore personnel to identify verification finding owners and agree SMART actions.
Regularly reports to management on total number of findings and findings overdue by asset. Supports finding owners and ensures adequate resources are in place to keep finding levels as low as possible.
Presents the Verification Scheme to the regulator and other external parties, as part of audits.
Agrees annual Verification budgets with each of the assets. Works with the Verifier and applies strict invoice management to manage cost.
Trains new personnel in the F&O MOC process and use of the MOC Impact tool.
Carries out Quality Reviews on closed F&O MOCs to ensure process compliance and fluency. Revises process to address systemic issues.
Provides guidance to onshore and offshore personnel on when they need to apply the F&O MOC process and promotes/drives F&O MOC process fluency across all workgroups.
Maintains and communicates KPIs to Management and F&O MOC users to ensure there is adequate focus and resource to execute and close out MOCs in compliance and on time.
Maintains F&O MOC process alignment with industry best practice.
Engineering (or other relevant STEM) degree qualified.
Previous experience in a Verification and/or Management of Change role is highly desirable.
Discipline engineering experience in an onshore or offshore petrochemical environment, and/or design assurance experience, would be highly advantageous.
Experience in effectively managing contractors to deliver against expectations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical for this position given the significant stakeholder and customer exposure / engagements requirements of the role.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required.
Must be able to travel offshore to regularly engage face-to-face with key customers (BOSIET and offshore medical required).
