  Key Responsibilities Include:                                                                                                                   

 

·         Execute Supplier identification and qualification

·         Competitive bidding process and analysis in accordance with Braskem policies and procedures

·         Engage in rigorous negotiations

·         Formulate recommendations for Supplier selection based on Total Cost of Ownership models

·         Develop contract implementation plans

·         Manage contractor/supplier relationships and develops measures to evaluate performance

·         Evaluate regional and strategic market segments to determine the best approach to provide improved support services

·         Help support warehouse operations 

·         Oversight of Warehouse Analyst

·         Maintain regular interaction with the business to support existing programs and development of improved sourcing strategies

 

  Requirements:                                                                                                                                      

 

·         Bachelor or Associate Degree in Business (or equivalent); >5 years in Procurement is needed

·         Ability to work in a team environment to achieve business initiatives, but also be a self-motivated individual who can work independently to manage projects

·         Ability to construct baseline spend analysis and create Total Cost of Ownership models

·         Business acumen, customer focus, ability to prioritize in an ambiguous environment

·         Strong verbal and written communication, active listening, and presentation skills

·         Ability to foster collaborative relationships with suppliers, co-workers, and internal customers

·         Ability to analyze business and technical requirements, and propose solutions that increase Braskem’s economic value

·         Ability to negotiate effectively working knowledge of commercial terms and legal terms and conditions

·         Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management

·         Ability to operate independently and to take the initiative in accomplishing job responsibilities

·         Good communication skills with ability to interface well with wide variety of customers

·         Positive attitude, with an open-minded approach to learning

·         Available for emergency situations on weekends and nights, if needed

Ability to lead projects in a warehouse environment
