Senior EC&I Maintenance Engineer – Chemicals – East Yorkshire - £50k + Benefits

Are you a degree qualified Electrical Engineer, looking to challenge yourself in a demanding, complex chemical manufacturing environment?

Based at their chemical manufacturing site in the East Yorkshire, our client have an opportunity within their engineering team for a reliability and maintenance engineer, to support & implement long-term improvement maintenance strategies for the site.

You will be responsible for driving the engineering standards within the maintenance team, managing small projects of both CAPEX and OPEX, working with all departments to deliver them efficiently.

Ideally you will have 5 years’ experience in a similar petrochemical /chemical/pharmaceutical/FMCG plant. You will have a degree in electrical engineering, or similar, and have demonstrable experience with process safety tools and implementation of reliability centred maintenance. 

The successful candidate will be joining an established site with an excellent staff working environment, with a focus on continued staff development.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
Demonstrable experience within a chemical manufacturing or related process industry.
Track record in delivering site reliability projects.
