Job DescriptionNES Global Talent are currently on the lookout for 2 x Instrumentation Engineers for 6-12 month contracts based just outside of Bristol. Supporting our client's Production Control business, you will develop products and provide solutions to meet client deliverables in the Subsea projects portfolio. In addition, you will utilise your experience and expertise to develop subsea products to effect short-term and long-term business goals.
We are ideally looking for candidates who hold a Degree in Mechanical (or relevant) Engineering & boasts significant experience in delivering subsea instrumentation to EPC or Services projects.
Generation of technical procurement specifications, parts and document suites, specific to subsea Instrumentation. Typical listing would be:
- Wet Gas Flow Meter (WGFM) - Preferred
- Multi-Phase Flow Meter (MPFM) - Preferred
- Chemical Injection Metering Valve (CIMV) - Preferred
- Acoustic Sand Detector (ASD)
- Electrical Flying Leads (EFLs)
- Pressure Temperature Sensors (PTs)
- Optical Flying Leads (OFLs)
Ensuring that product design conforms to the requirements specifications
Promoting Compliance, Quality & EHS integrity through developing succinct procedures, work instructions, product and process related documentation and creatively promote their use
Takes responsibility in working across global Subsea Engineering Teams to deliver solutions to assigned work packages
Demonstrates ability to multi-task on various projects and work to agreed schedules
Demonstrate the expertise to work with instrumentation suppliers to bring about OTD, and evolve the product
