Senior Automation Engineer - Greater London
 
Due to rapid growth, my client is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join their offices in London.

My client are at the forefront of driving a circular economy through their own patented technology. They are currently investing in new plants globally and are wanting a skilled Senior Automation Engineer who is passionate about programming and works well in a multi-disciplinary team whereby you have the support of the company whilst being trusted to be accountable for driving automation systems. 

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a fast growing, innovative company who have developed their own patented technology within chemical recycling and as such are partnering with some of the world's largest petrochemical operators.

As the Senior Automation Engineer you will join the Engineering Department, taking a lead on a portfolio of projects coding controllers or main PLC and HMI for each of their future plants. You’ll develop new control strategies that ease the operator daily work constantly making improvements on control logics and operator interface.
 
The role of Senior Automation Engineer ensures designs comply with the relevant codes, standards, regulations and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills to improve efficiency's of control loops and their operation time. configure and manage industrial communication networks and manage acceptance tests both on factory and site.
 
To qualify for this role you’ll ideally be educated to degree/equivalent level with experience in the building of full automated systems from conception to completion.
 
You’ll have advanced knowledge of control loops design, coding, installing and configuring operator stations, network design and security.
