The NES Chicago office is very excited to announce we currently have an excellent job opportunity with one of the world’s largest oil and gas distributors based out of their offices in St. Louis, MO for a Business Development Manager. This individual would be responsible for developing new business relationships and building upon their own previously established ones with convenience retail gas station owners and decision makers who have branding authority for targeted locations.
-Location: St. Louis, MO.
-Hours: Flexible (40 hours per week).
-Pay Range: $30-$40/hr. based on skillset and previous experience + 5K bonus for every new site signed on.
-Other Perks: Position includes company laptop, cell phone stipend, company I-Pad, and ability to expense mileage.
-Duration: 1.5-2 year contract with an opportunity to be hired on and be promoted into a Area Sales Manager role.
- Deliver new branded retail facilities through single-site and multi-site operators.
- Network with retail gas station owners or operators and sign them onto company branded service contracts.
- Maintain relationships on the book of business you develop and become the point of contact for your new retailers.
-Work independently from home and on the road and be able to visit 12+ retail sites per day.
-Proficiently work with and utilize Microsoft Suites (Power Point, Excel, Office, etc.).
-Ability to self-motivate and coordinate multiple tasks at one time.
-Be willing to work and travel during off hours to meet client needs.
-MUST have at least 10+ years of consistent B2B sales experience.
-MUST be able to demonstrate prior history of sale’s success, business acumen, and ability to stay organized.
-Previous experience selling within the oil and gas retail sector would be a BIG plus.
-Previous experience working with Salesforce would be a BIG plus.
-Candidates local to the St. Louis, MO market are HIGHLY preferred.
